Phish Reunion to Go Down in Virginia

Published by melanied at 11:43 am under Uncategorized Edit This

After a four year long (and for fans, this has been LONG) haitus, the jam band Phish is planning a reunion concert to take place on March 6 through 8 at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia.

The band has not played together since its final performance on August 14 and 15, 2004, at a farewell festival in Coventry, Vermont.

Phish is comprised of members Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon, Page McConnell and Jon Fishman and they hail from Vermont, thus their choice of locales for their swan song performance.

Tickets for the reunion gig, a three night stand, go on sale shortly. If you can’t make it out to Virginia, though, no worries - additional shows are expected to be added soon. Keep checking back on the band’s website, http://phish.com, to see if they will be touring near you!

I’ll be living in Boone, NC when that show goes down, but I’ve pretty much severed my ties to Phishdom. My stories from Phish lot could fill three or four books, but I’m just not psyched about them anymore. Bring on the Panic, bring back Leftover, gimme some a that YMSB, but leave the Phish n’ Cheese at the door.
